Lead Landscape Gardener

About the Role
Ready to turn your love for the outdoors into a real career? We are looking for a fit,
motivated, and energetic Horticulturist/Gardener/Soft landscaper to join our team in the Auckland city
centre. This isn't just a job pushing a mower—it’s your chance to learn different
aspects of horticulture from a company that loves to share knowledge while enjoying
the outdoors. Currently, the role is between 20-30 hours per week with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role. With great career progression, we are looking for someone who can lead a team in the future.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Assisting with the maintenance and renovation of gardens, landscapes, and turf.

  • Performing regular hands-on tasks such as mowing, edging, weeding, pruning, and mulching.

  • Developing skills in plant and lawn care, soil management, irrigation systems, and equipment operation and maintenance.

  • Adhering to all relevant workplace health and safety guidelines.


What We are Looking For

  • A positive attitude, a desire to learn and a passion for gardening and the outdoors, and to grow into leading our installation service.

  • A keen eye for detail, a commitment to high standards and, most of all, health and safety.

  • Knowledge of plant care and safe chemical application will be an advantage.

  • A reliable, self-motivated work ethic with excellent teamwork skills.

  • A current New Zealand driver's licence.

  • Landscape construction experience is a strong bonus.
